Description
Located in Saline County, Alum Fork Natural Area conserves over a mile of the Alum Fork of the Saline River. It provides habitat for at least four species of concern including the federally listed Arkansas fatmucket (Lampsilis powellii) mussel and two plant species endemic to the Ouachita Mountains.
